Hot Damn!

 Oh man! So the campaign is heating up. Debates are happening Monday morning at 9:30 AM between Craig (my running mate) and Jorje (the opposition). This should be a very interesting debate, and I'm definitely going to want to tune in when I can. 

Also, Craig and I are helping to organize a "Rock The Vote" event on campus which will bring all candidates for all offices out to talk about their campaign. We've even invited the opposition, for bi-partisan purposes. 

The most exciting thing is that the polls open Wednesday night, at 10 PM and then they go for 24 hours until 10 PM Thursday night (obviously). I've suggested the idea of sort of a CNN style up to the minute update on how the votes are coming in, but I don't know if it will actually happen.

In case anyone was wondering who we're running against, it's this fella on the left. 

He's a real champ. True story, they didn't know it was spelled that way until after this photo was put up on MSNBC. I can only speculate as to why that is... but whatever. (link is at the end of this post)

He's always been civil to me, so I've never really had any reason to dislike him in that respect, but i'm not going to lie, I'm fairly competitive with this election and I really want to win.  

I hope we win, that would be pretty exciting.
