Ad Doctor
Ever since I found out that you could use an eraser to white out parts of images and text on the crappy paper that they used for "Weekly Reader" in elementary school, I've loved playing with people's graphic design choices. At my last restaurant job, I would spend my lunch breaks adding speech bubbles to all of the ads in Outside magazine and then putting the finished product up on the wall. I spend flights doing the same thing with Spirit (Southwest's in-flight magazine). Last year, I even put up a Craigslist ad for people to mail me a magazine and for me to write all over it and mail it back to them. It never happened. And then I forgot about my life's calling, until yesterday. Presenting: Ad-Doctor! I write stuff in magazine ads and scan it.
