If not for Iron Man I may not have received health insurance. Fact!

A few days back we had our annual meeting regarding health insurance plans; a meeting that I neglected to attend because I never read the paperwork that was distributed out to everyone. So, from the managements' perspective, I was going to neglect the company coverage over my fragile body. This is where Iron Man came into the equation...

One day prior to this meeting, the trailer for the upocoming Iron Man 2 movie (May 7th; SWEET JESUS!!!) had been released throughout the interwebs. I watched the trailer a good 753 times over the 16 hours between getting home from work and returning to work. After clocking in, I saw Keenan in the housekeeping manager's office and decided to engage in "water-clooer-esque" conversation about the adrenaline-fueled thrill-ride that will be Iron Man 2. We concluded that it will be great. But interjecting into our conversation, Donna (housekeeping manager) noted that I was yet to sign up for the insurance and she had to know THAT DAY as to whether or not I was going to take it. I must have my shit covered, so I signed up right then and there!

Now you may be thinking that crediting Iron Man for my coverage seems a little far-fetched. Well let me tell you that I never stop to chat after clocking in! Had I not seen that trailer, I would've continued on my marry path and probably ended up getting hit by a car at some point in the future, or had that weird "squishing" thing happen to be while disc golfing - SCREWED I'D BE!! But because I watched the Iron Man 2 trailer and decided to talk to Keenan about it, I now have full health, dental, and optical coverage! From hence forth if anyone asks me who my favorite superhero is, I will respond "IRON MAN! Because he is the reason I'm alive today!"
